The accuracy of window measurements is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please read our measuring instructions for assistance.

To avoid possible injury with the cords on certain blinds and shades, please keep the cords out of the reach of small children.

Color Disclaimer

Computer monitors are not all calibrated equally, and electronically reproducing color on the Internet is imprecise. Therefore, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the color. We have gone to great lengths to portray colors as accurately as possible. For a more accurate color determination please contact DeLaine James for swatches.

Wood disclaimer

Natural products such as wood blinds and woven wood blinds will vary in color from blind to blind. Because wood grains vary for every slat, stains may appear darker or lighter than the swatch which is common and within industry standards. Woven Woods made from real bamboo, grasses and reeds will differ in color than provided swatches. Samples tend to be browner with age and new shades may appear greener because they were recently cut.

Color Coordinated Components

Color Coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of the blind/shade. The color that best coordinates with the product's slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components.

Return Policy and Cancellation Charge

Custom window coverings provide an excellent long-term value for the windows they are fabricated to fit. However, they have little value for windows of other sizes and therefore they may not be returned for credit. Due to our fast production service, costs begin to occur shortly after the order is placed as components are cut to size. All orders fabricated by DeLaine James are subject to a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the cost of the order.

Warranty

All products purchased from DeLaine James, Inc. are covered by a standard Limited Lifetime warranty. This warranty covers material defects and workmanship to the original purchaser for the life of the blind. Not covered is normal wear and tear such as environmental damage, acts of god, abuse, faulty installation, costs associated with product removal, installation, shipping or transportation, trips to or from product destination or any other incidental or consequential damages.

Applicable Law

By visiting DeLaineJames.com, you agree that the laws of the state of Texas, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and DeLaineJames.com or its affiliates.

Disputes

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to DeLaineJames.com or to products you purchase through DeLaineJames.com shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Texas, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate DeLaineJames.com ‘s intellectual property rights, DeLaineJames.com may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Texas, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
